The staff here was extremely helpful and catered well to everyone's needs, even providing extra amenities upon request!

Its position in town

It was drab and very poor quality for the price. No pictures on the walls, only one very bad light over head and no lamps. Small and cramped, no air conditioning. It was right next to a main road so noisy with traffic. The walls needed repainting and the beds were uncomfortable!

The maid was very good. She didnt speak english but she was very nice. They moved the room we were in because our wheelchair could not get in the room. The people in the office were very friendly, but kept stating we are sorry but this is an old hotel.

The handicap room was made many years ago. The shower was for a wheelchair that isn't electric. So we could not take a shower. The temperature was set at 85% and kept going on. I could not adjusted it so I turned it off. The telephone wasnt working so we had to keep going to the manager office.

The room was big and had a modern vibe to it. It had a nice bathroom with soap, shampoo, and even a toothbrush included 🚿.

Outstandingly accommodating staff, the rooms are new-fashioned and spacious. Private bathroom is large.

Location, Location, Location! It was a three day weekend, there was not a lot to choose from when I made my reservation. I mainly choose this hotel for the price and location. It was more than I thought, the room was quite clean, although somewhat small. However what more do you need in a room? The bed was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom had a toilet and shower (the shower had great pressure, which is unusual in a hotel) There was even complimentary coffee in the room. The staff was fabulous. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful. My husband and I will definately stay there again when we need a little getaway to the city. Again, the location cannot be beat!!

This hotel in San Francisco is a great choice for budget-friendly accommodations. the rooms are spacious and kept fairly clean. - the staff is attentive and provides excellent service. - the on-site restaurant is popular among guests.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The location of the hotel was outstanding--exactly what we were looking for. It was also very clean.

Our room was on the ground floor, and the only window faced the parking lot. We did not feel comfortable leaving the window open at night, so the room was a bit stuffy.

No bed bugs were found. Matress was comfortable.

It was dirty, cobwebs, bathroom moldy, quarter of dirt on bath fan, heater, boxfan, Light tops, windows, screen, baseboards door casement tops. They changed the name to travelodge so it was hard to find it. The kicker was the bed frame was out 6 inches further than the matress,boxsprings it was hidden from view with the bed skirt, my boyfriend walked in to it and broke his toes. I have pictures. I wrote a 21 item list for the manager to fix just in that room. It was not worth the money I paid.Oh when we got to the room they change what I booked for what they wanted to give me.Not what I paid for.I Did have that Item fixed.

Convenient Location 🚶‍♂️

Within a short walk, you'll find nearby attractions, restaurants, public transportation options, as well as shops and dining spots along the water front.

About the only thing I can say about Bayside Inn is it was close to everything important--buses ran in front, walking distance to tour pick- ups, restaurants and shopping. If you do not plan to spend much time in your room, this is an excellent choice for the price, with reasonable parking fees. We parked our car, and never had to move it during our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful Hotel has just joined Travelodge and has MAJOR rennovations and a name change planned soon, I was told.

Everything was small--the parking lot and spaces, the hotel lobby, the room, the bathroom. Even the hotel is tucked into a small cutout in a corner of a 3-street intersection. We missed it the first time. There were only two electic outlets in the entire room--behind the tv and in the bathroom dressing area--inconvenient! Overhead light--no lamps. Decor was very dated, inside and out. Parking lot is small, and probably does not have enought parking for every room. If you leave in your car, you may not have a spot when you return. Spaces are very small, and it took a few tries and a spotter to be exactly in the lines--BACK in if possible!! Getting out of the lot is more difficult than getting in. We had a dirty towel on back of our door, but you have to step in the shower to close the door. Obviously, the cleaner missed it. We threw it under the sink and ignored it.

I thought the room was not very clean and the price was very high. Not much was available on the weekend we were there, and we wanted to be close to the wharf, which the hotel is.

The room was a good size with a handy safe included. the bed was super comfy, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. 💫

The location was great!

The bathroom light I had to kick the breaker in the outlet to get it to come on if turned off. Felt dirty. No heat or air in the room. The house keeper could not speak English. The rooms are very very small. I would pay more next time and stay in a better, cleaner hotel!!

The advert said it was newly refurbished however - the walls were grubby, the door hinges to the bathroom door were really rusty, the curtain lining was ripped a lot, there was a cigarette burn on the bed cover, the free wifi would only work if I was sat outside on the steps and it was poor quality. The parking gave the impression it was free however it costs $15 a night.
